Grew up on a Horse Farm in Ohio.
I also used to spend 4 to 6 weeks at the end of each winter working in a Maple Sugar Camp which used work horses to gather the sugar water. Afterwards, we would boil it down into Maple Syrup.
Drove a truck when I turned 18.
Went into the U.S. Air Force from 1970-1974, when I turn 20. I worked in the office of NORS Control. It's part of the Base Supply System which deals with High Priority Items. It's been renamed and is now called the Mission Critical Office.
While in the Air Force and stationed in the Netherlands, I competed in internetional skydiving competitions in my spare time. I also enjoyed cross-country motorcycle competitions.
2 Year Degree in Photography.
I've worked as a licensed Security Officer and as a licensed Real Estate Salesman on a part time basis.
20 years of photography experience.
1 year of additional college majoring in Computer Science.
I have had various photography work published in Newspapers and Magazines around the world.
I also freelanced for Associated Press for a while.
I went back to driving a truck in 1997, and bought my own truck in 1999.
In the year 2000, Road King Magazine wrote an article about me as a High-Tech Truck Driver. They have also published my opinion in other later related articles.
In 2003, along with many other people, I worked to get the Federal D.O.T. to clarify the fact that software on a laptop in a truck used for the purpose of a drivers logbook was to be considered legal in all 50 states.
The D.O.T. in Washington D.C. also listened to my opinion while considering the 2004 Hours of Service rules for Truck Drivers. (The hearings were open to anyone with a qualified opinion.)
Currently, I have sold my truck and am working as a company truck driver.
I am also selling novelty items wholesale. I am currently doing this on a part-time basis.
And from time to time, I still have articles published in various newspapers and magazines around the USA.
